An unfaithful man whose wheelchair-bound wife dies in a car accident is paid a visit by her sister, who starts to re-create his wife's persona, eventually using the wheelchair. At the same time, someone tries to blackmail him by suggesting that he killed his wife. Catherine Spaak plays the man's long-term mistress in a supporting role.
